Recently President Zhang Tiezhu, invited by Professor Lan Yubin, an expert of the National Thousand Talents Plan and the director of the Joint Laboratory for the International Agricultural Aerial Pesticide Application Technology and the Agricultural Aerial Application Technology, attended the national key project initiation ceremony for “Pesticide Application the Land. He also took part in the opening ceremony of 5th International Precise Agricultural Aviation Conference, delivering a speech there.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhang Tiezhu was appointed as the director of the Academic Committee of the Joint Laboratory for the International Agricultural Aerial Pesticide Application Technology and the Agricultural Aerial Application Technology. During the meeting, Zhang Tiezhu and Lan Yubin discussed in depth the key technologies of pesticide reduction and the intelligent equipment, reaching an agreement on cooperation.
This joint laboratory mainly researches on the precise agricultural aerial technology, offering the precise aerial application equipment for a safe, efficient and sustainable production of crops; it nails down the operational protocols for the efficient pesticide application between the ground and the air, which leads to chemical pesticide reduction and enhanced effectiveness. It helps to solve the serious problems of pesticide overdose, the corresponding environmental pollution and the quality and safety of agricultural products in China.
