Recently, the third inspection group of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee gave feedback to the Party Committee of SDUT about the inspection. WANG Yingxia, member of Standing Committee of Discipline Inspection Commission of Shandong Province, presided over a feedback meeting to LYU Chuanyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of SDUT, and attended the feedback meeting to the leading group of the Party Committee of SDUT, putting forward requirements for inspection and rectification. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the speech on the inspection spoke by LIU Jiayi, the Secretary of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee. LI Zhen, deputy leader of the third inspection group of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, reported the inspection result to LYU Chuanyi and the leading group respectively on behalf of the inspection group of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee. LYU Chuanyi presided over the feedback meeting to the leading group and made a statement on carrying out inspection and rectification.
According to the unified deployment of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, the third inspection group of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee inspected the Party Committee of SDUT from March 5th to June 5th, 2021.
When giving feedback, LI Zhen pointed out that in recent years, the Party Committee of SDUT has implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, paid attention to strengthening party building, deeply implemented the strategy of “talent priority”, and actively explored the integrated development of the university and city. SDUT strove to improve the level of school management, having 4 doctoral degree authorized first-level disciplines, and having been listed as “High-level University” and “University with Strong Characteristics” of Shandong Province. During the inspection, the inspection group found some problems with the cadres and the masses. At the same time, the inspection team also received clues to reflect the problems of leading cadres, which had been transferred to relevant discipline inspection and supervision organs or organizational departments for handling according to relevant provisions.
LI Zhen put forward four suggestions for rectification: first, to practice political responsibility and fully implement the Party’s educational policy; Second, to take the initiative to promote the high-quality development of higher education; Third, to adhere to exercise with rigor and focus on strengthening Party building; Fourth, to strengthen the sense of responsibility and resolutely rectify problems reported from inspections and audits.
WANG Yingxia stressed that the Party Committee of SDUT should thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s “July 1st” important speech, continue to carry out Party history study and education, give top priority to Party political development, effectively strengthen the self-improvement of leading group, implement the headmaster-in-charge system under the leadership of Party Committee, and give full play to the role of political leadership. SDUT should carry out the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, strengthen the double-first-class building, firmly shoulder the political responsibility for overseeing and governing the Party, fully implement the Party’s organizational line for the new era, shoulder the primary responsibility for rectification, and ensure that rectification tasks are fully implemented.
LYU Chuanyi said that we would we sincerely accept, fully claim and accepct all the problems put forward by inspection group of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee; For the rectification requirements put forward by the inspection group of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, we would earnestly and fully implement and make thorough rectification. We would earnestly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strengthen the ideological understanding, vigorously promote the main body responsibility, improve the long-term mechanism and promote the transformation of achievements. We would attach importance to the second half of the inspection with high spirit and strong responsibility and thoroughly rectify feedback problems in place to submit a satisfactory answer to CPC Shandong Provincial Committee.
